Community Organizing

Healthy neighborhoods can literally be turned upside-down when young people turn to crime and vandalism.  Our programs help organize and empower residents to develop plans for reducing and preventing juvenile delinquency.  We also sponsor summer camps, after-school and advocacy programs that provide positive avenues for youth who are otherwise at risk.

• BNAP (Bloomington-Normal Area Project) Summer Camp: BNAP has scheduled the 2010 Summer Camp session for June 7th-July 23rd. Our camp provides children in the Blooington-Normal area an avenue in exploring hands-on arts/crafts, consumer education, educational and recreational opportunities. Breakfast, lunch and snack are also provided each day. Children are selected on a first come, first-serve basis.

  Mandatory meetings for parents/guardians of camp attendees are as follows:
  *Returning Camp Parent meeting –Monday, March 15th 5:30pm-7pm
  *NEW CAMP Parents meeting/registration – Thursday, March 18th 5:30pm-7pm

Both meetings will be held at Holy Trinity Church Basement

Please note, final camp fees ($300/child) is due at the time of registration.
