My Dear Brothers and Sisters,

With great pleasure, I welcome you to the website of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Peoria. Here you will find important information on the programs and ministries Catholic Charities offers as it strives to respond to the social service needs of the people in our diocese.   

Our faith calls us to respond to our sisters and brothers in need.  Catholic Charities has the privilege to have a leadership role in the service of charity on behalf of the Church and I am grateful for the staff, volunteers and all who are involved in carrying out our mission. Catholic Charities strives to not only provide excellence in human services, but to distinguish its service as being a reflection of God’s love and compassion for hurting persons.

Inspired by Jesus Christ’s boundless love and generosity, with a special concern for the poor, we dedicate our efforts to creating hope in the lives of those who are most vulnerable as we protect and nurture children, strengthen families, support people in crisis and help build a just and compassionate society.
